Tracy has been an active doula since 2017. Registered with WOMBS she takes great pleasure in training young doulas as part of their practical hours.
Tracy also volunteers at the Far East Rand hospital and runs a charity organization, Love and Dignity that was set up to support moms and babies in need.
'I believe every woman should be given all the support she wants and needs during labor, birth and the first weeks of the new baby's life. This is my contribution to World Peace. The fact that I get to feed my soul while doing it is just a bonus.'
Sr Vuyo Makgalifa obtained her qualifications at the University of Johannesburg the year 2010.
Her passion for midwifery began as a student and since then she has never looked back.
'I love every part of the clients experience from them finding out they are pregnant, supporting them as the pregnancy grows till the arrival of the little toes. It feels like watching a flower blossom'
Sr. Mavis qualified as a Registered Midwife in 1992 and has worked with various categories of
Healthcare providers, clients and patients.
She believes that empowering families pre natally,
during their childbirth and post-birth is the best gift any midwife can give to the families as
the communities.
'I have been a midwife for more than 10 years but every time
I meet expectant couples they bring me new hope to serve them up to the stage when they are empowered.'
Sr. Yonela obtained her BCUR degree at University of Johannesburg in 2015.
She became a midwife because Midwifery is family oriented, and mother and child is my passion.
'I love how you see God's creation from pregnancy, delivery to post natal journey of a women.'
